Walmart Outfits Stores with Apple Counters

Make no mistake; Walmart has been selling Apple products for quite the time. This is a case that seems to be different in the sense of making a section of Walmart look like a miniature Apple Store. A Walmart in Arkansas was spotted as the first location with new counters for their Apple Products. The display is very similar to what you would expect from an Apple Store location: counters are made out of wood and there’s a bright sign that displays the iPhone and iPad loud and clear for possible new customers. Is it possible that we may be

App Review: TweetBot

As you all know, I’m a huge addict to Twitter. Since I have purchased my iPhone 4S, I have become even more of an addict since I have the capabilities to Tweet a lot quicker, on the go. I’m always up for trying new Twitter clients since the official Twitter client for any iOS device is a bit lackluster. I have tried multiple applications and I think I have finally found my favorite one. For $2.99, you can also experience this amazing application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Enjoy my overview of TweetBot. If you enjoyed this video,

The exclusive iOS app, Instagram, finally makes way to Android after an incredibly long wait. It seems that Adroid users couldn’t wait to share recent photos with the Instagram community. In just under 24 hours of release, Instagram was downloaded over 1 million times. Instagram opened up registrations to Android users back on March 24, allowing users to become “first in line” for the app. With over 430,000 people pre-registered and about 2,000 sign-ups per minute, the app was destined for great success. If you’re an Android user, have you started using Instagram? Why or why not?

Sprint’s Unlimited Data Plans to Include LTE

Even though Sprint doesn’t have great service and is behind major U.S. carriers, Sprint has some competitive plans that are hard to turn down. It looks as if Sprint is preparing one advantage, unlimited data for LTE devices! TechHog was the first confirmation when they noticed the carrier was promoting LTE and unlimited data for the LG Viper. Although we don’t know for sure if the LG Viper will be LTE, it does seem likely it will be the first LTE device on Sprint’s network. LG Viper pairs perfectly with our unlimited data plans to bring customers the benefit of

TechJohnson’s New Intro

A few years ago, I was stuck in a Chris Pirillo fantasy. I’m aware, that sounds extremely wrong but don’t take it that way. For a while, Chris Pirillo was a big idle of mine and I wanted to be just like him. He had great success and I wanted to follow in his footsteps. Since I was doing what I could to follow in his footsteps, I decided to have a logo made that resembled his and I got a lot of hatred for that. For years, I admired Chris Pirillo and I still do. I enjoy the work

Facebook has a 42-foot QR Code

It seems to be that every company that’s tech savvy has a QR code, and Facebook’s no exception. The famous Social Network decided to slap a huge QR code on the roof of its headquarters. The genius idea spawned from a Facebook employee’s comment on Zuck’s post. Hack yeah! I’d like to paint a gigantic QR code somewhere so we can RickRoll online maps, or point people to our careers site, or send them to a ‘Clarissa Explains it All’ GeoCities page. I have included a photo below that gives you a clear shot so you can scan the QR

Blind Man Goes for a Cruise

This sounds crazy but Google let a blind man sit in the driver seat of a car to take a test drive. It may sound crazy, but the car was the company’s self-driving car. Steve Mahan is one lucky guy! Mahan doesn’t have a driver’s license because he lost 95% of his vision. Like a true man, the first place Mahan wanted to go once he hopped in the driver seat was Taco Bell. Don’t worry, a Google representative rode along side with a computer on his lap, programming the route to each destination. This car is the smartest car

Unboxing: Apple Wired Keyboard

I have always used the Wired Apple Keyboard for my desktop setup and after about 2-3 years of usage, it finally decided to break. Well, so I thought. The other day, I decided to reorganize the office and change some furniture around. While doing so, I had to completely take everything off my desk and set it in a safe spot. I thought all my electronics were safe, but I guess I was wrong. I don’t recall bumping into anything but when I plugged my keyboard back into my setup, I noticed it wasn’t working. All the typing keys didn’t

Unboxing: Naked Case Mate iPhone 4S Case

I have a real serious problem when it comes to iPhone cases. Just about every time I go to a store that sells them, I’m always walking out with a new case to unbox and review for you guys. While it’s putting a hole in my pocket, I feel that it’ll benefit me down the road. I’ll do what it takes to keep you all coming back for more. After all, my opinion matters to everyone. Regardless to say, I have made no exception this last trip I made to Walmart. I went to Walmart to simply pick up some

What Tech Do You Use Every Day?

Being a technology enthusiast and doing a the bulk of my work on the internet, I get asked the same questions on a day-to-day basis. What computer do you use? What kind of phone do you have? What do you record your videos with? What do you edit your videos with? Whether people want to copy me, gain knowledge or just get input about their own buying decisions, people love to know things about other people. Instead of just giving you a list of what I use on a daily basis in my office, I’ll separate this post into three key categories:
