Unboxing: PlatinumPlus 6600PG Tripod

After years of using a cheap Dynex tripod, I figured it was time to upgrade. I originally went to my local Best Buy to go on the hunt for a new iPhone case but found myself in the tripod section. I thought it would be better to invest in something I would use more than an iPhone case for two weeks.

I settled on the PlatinumPlus 6600PG by Sunpak and in this video, I do a quick unboxing. I purchased this for about $55, which is relatively cheap for a tripod. From what I can tell/feel, this tripod is a very sturdy tripod and will last a long time.

Features:

  • Pistol Grip
  • Release and Lock Action
  • Quick Release Plate
  • Heavy Duty Chassis
  • Oversize Flip Lever Leg Locks
  • Non-Marring Rubber Feet

This particular tripod can hold up to 11 pounds and extends to 65.5 inches. It also features a leveling system with four different levels. With this leveling feature, you will always know when you’re on a perfect angle.

Unboxing: Apple Wired Keyboard

I have always used the Wired Apple Keyboard for my desktop setup and after about 2-3 years of usage, it finally decided to break. Well, so I thought.

The other day, I decided to reorganize the office and change some furniture around. While doing so, I had to completely take everything off my desk and set it in a safe spot. I thought all my electronics were safe, but I guess I was wrong. I don’t recall bumping into anything but when I plugged my keyboard back into my setup, I noticed it wasn’t working.

All the typing keys didn’t seem to work properly. Hitting “J” opened the downloads window while hitting the “delete” key showed that I was typing. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. At this point, it was 8:45pm and my local Apple store, which was 40 minutes away, closed at 9:30pm. Well, here we go!

I ran for my keys and wallet and rushed out the door to make it to the store on time. After breaking speeding laws to get there, I made it within 15 minutes to find myself running into the Apple store like a mad man! Purchased the keyboard and drove home. Got home exactly an hour after I left…talk about speeding.

When I got home, I noticed on my old keyboard that my “control” key was pressed down. Talk about an epic fail! After noticing the key was stuck down, all the weird things happening with my keyboard made complete sense. Either way, I decided to keep the keyboard. It always feels good to type on a new keyboard and now it’ll always have a backup if this keyboard does truly decide to break.

Moral of the story, check your keys before breaking laws to buy a new one. Oh, don’t forget to watch the unboxing!

Unboxing: Naked Case Mate iPhone 4S Case

I have a real serious problem when it comes to iPhone cases. Just about every time I go to a store that sells them, I’m always walking out with a new case to unbox and review for you guys. While it’s putting a hole in my pocket, I feel that it’ll benefit me down the road. I’ll do what it takes to keep you all coming back for more. After all, my opinion matters to everyone.

Regardless to say, I have made no exception this last trip I made to Walmart. I went to Walmart to simply pick up some air fresheners for my vehicle and ended up walking out with a new iPhone 4S case. I ended up getting a cheap cased called Naked made by Case Mate.

In this video, I do a quick unboxing and my initial impressions. If you want my honest opinion of my first impressions, this case is awful. The only things I like about the case is the clear design and the protection it offers. Everything else, awful! Be sure to come back in a week or so to check out my full review.

Unboxing: Karston Chair

It was only a matter of time before I had to go out and purchase a new chair.  I have been sitting in the same chair for nearly 7 years and it finally decided to give out on me.  I leaning back on the chair taking a break when suddenly, snap and boom!  Next thing you know, my chair completely broke on me and I’m cracking up in embarrassment because my whole live stream saw the action.  While it was only a matter of time, it was really upsetting because the timing was awful.  I’ve been in debt with Honda, my insurance company, court, and other bills.  So spending money on a chair when I’m unemployed and in the hole was really upsetting.  It’s totally worth it though because this new Karston Chair feels like a million bucks.  The best part is, it’s only one hundred bucks!  If you’re interested in the Karston Chair, you can pick it up online or at Staples.  Interested in this chair, click here!

Unboxing: NS-PCS21 Insignia Speaker System

After my old speakers decided to take a dive off the desk and break, I went out and purchased a temporary speaker set.  I’ve always been big into my audio and I always strive to have the best audio.  I know these cheap speakers won’t stand up to my expectations, but they will have to do for the time being.  So far, they are amazing for the price point but keep in mind, you get what you pay for.  I hope you enjoy the unboxing of the NS-PCS21 Insignia Speaker System.

During Black Friday of 2011, I took advantage of some local deals at my Best Buy and purchased a new microphone to unbox and review for you guys. I hope you enjoy! Keep a look out in the future for when I sell this microphone.

Unboxing: Targus 42″ Travel Tripod

During my Black Friday shopping adventures, I came across this Tripod on sale for $7 marked down from $14. I wasn’t going to pass up a half off deal on something so small that I could review and unbox for you all! I also figured it would come in handy for an upcoming project this summer. I hope you enjoy this simple unboxing!

Apple TV Unboxing

After some long hard thinking, I finally gave in and bought the Apple TV.  For a $100 price point, it’s something that every Gadget Consumer should own.  The one draw back in buying the Apple TV is the fact that you MUST own an HD TV.  Too many, that’s not an issue because HD TV are killing the market.  If you are stuck in the past or just don’t have the money, then I’m sorry, but the Apple TV will have to remain a fantasy.

Being an avid user of Netflix and YouTube, I have been loving my Apple TV.  I have had this amazing device for a week now and I couldn’t ask for more.  Especially for $100.

Griffin Case Unboxing

NOTICE: Sorry for the low lighting and quiet audio. It’s at 2am and I didn’t want to wake my father that was sleeping across the hall.

This case was given to me to review by Griffin. I’m showing you a fast unboxing of a great case.

iTunes Gift Card Unboxing

I am a long time Moderator on Zaps Technology Forum. I’m honored to be apart of a growing community which is forum based. In the last few months, we have come up with a new system. This system is called the ZRewards System. ZRewards is a fancy way of saying “Shop.” In our shop, we don’t actually take real money, we take ZDollars. How do you get ZDollars? ZDollars is acquired by posting new topics, replies, promoting, etc…

Topic: 2 ZD

Promotion Links: 75 ZD

The list can go on, but I’ll keep it short and simple with the above listed. ZD is short for ZDollars. In our ZRewards store, you can purchase various items, one being a $15 iTunes Gift Card. I had enough for this purchase, so I went along and made it. I figured it would be good to have since I want to buy some applications to review for my iPod Touch on my YouTube channel.

In this video, I’m giving you guys a short unboxing of my iTunes Gift Card. I know, unboxing an iTunes Gift Card isn’t much, but it’s something entertaining. I hope you all enjoy!

Dynex Unboxing

For those of you who don’t know what Dynex is a maker of, it’s a Tri-Pod company.  Today I went to the store and purchased myself a nice Tri-Pod for my Kodak Zi8.  I’m mainly going to be using this Tri-Pod to create new application reviews.  What a minute, you have an iPod Touch again?  Yes!  I do, I purchased one off of a good buddy of mine for cheap and it’s practically brand new.  It’s the 32gb model!  Keep on a lookout for future application reviews again.  Possibly even iPad App Reviews.  *hint*

Below, you will find some pictures of me unboxing my new Tri-Pod.  I didn’t use my Kodak Zi8 due to stabilization issues.  Now that I have my Tri-Pod, there is nothing to worry about!

Kodak Zi8 Unboxing

Finally, after getting my job, I had money to purchase the Kodak Zi8.  I figured I’d make an unboxing video for all you fans out there.  Hope you anjoy!

Apple Keyboard Unboxing

I’m always trying to find a great feeling keyboard and lately it’s been a challange. I thought I have found it with my Logitech S510 but after a lot of use, it started to hurt my hands. Not only that, Logitech makes products that tend to wear down after a lot of use so that you buy more. Well, sense my keyboard was wearing down, I thought it was time for an upgrade and I just didn’t have the money to by any keyboard. Well sense my birthday was yesterday (March 6th) I asked for the Wired Apple Keyboard as a present. Well I am happy to announce that I got it and I love it! It has a feel of the laptop keyboards that Mac puts on there MacBookPro’s. Well enough said about it, go ahead and watch the unboxing video. I know, it’s nothing special at all. It was very late at night and my mother was in bed. I didn’t want to wake her and what not so I kept my voice down. Yes, the ending lacks a lot but, again, it’s because of the such late hour it was! Enjoy!
