I thought it was time to give you guys a new desk tour. I had an earlier one, but this was at my old house with a different desk. Not going to lie, I miss my old desk, but I couldn’t take it with me. In this video, I show you a fast tour of my current set up and what not. I’m going to be changing rooms in about a month, so I will post a new video of my desk and my whole room. I hope you enjoy!

For awhile now, I have been using Google Chrome as my primary browser for my Windows 7 machine.  I must say, it’s simply amazing.  I know many people out there that used Macs were upset at the fact that Google didn’t make a version for any Mac user.  Now, this wasn’t a huge issue for myself, seeing that I do NOT own a mac at this time, but in the future I will.  Google has been in the works for a very long time, and finally, they have a stable version out of Google Chrome for all Mac users.  Now only for Mac users, but also Linux!  (just as a side note)

Some of the new features in the newest version of Google Chrome for Mac include the ability to sync bookmarks and browser settings across multiple computers.  That might be a huge selling point for some users that hate manually putting in bookmarks from two different computers.  I’m totally one of those people.  Also, the latest build also includes speed improvements demonstrated in an awesome video from earlier this month.

If you are already running the beta or any stable version of Chrome for Mac, your browser will automatically upgrade itself to the latest version.  This takes the pain out of downloading it yourself, also, very time consuming.

Now, I have a question for all you Mac users out there.  What do you think of Google Chrome for mac?

With technology advancing day by day, it is sometimes tough to follow up on certain details of hardware.  I know lately, there has been a lot of talk about the new iPhone 4g hitting the market soon.  Well, not much talk has been going into the new iPod Touch with the iPad being around.  For many months, users of the iPod Touch have been complaining with the fact that the new Nano has the camera and not the iPod Touch.  Well, do you think that Apple FINALLY listened and made this possible?

You will notice that this video is showing off the possible “new” iPod Touch with a 2 megapixel camera in the back.  You might also notice the interface is way different.  It seems to be some type of utility software to go through vital check lists of the device.  Do you think this is a hoax or true?

For those of you who don’t know what Dynex is a maker of, it’s a Tri-Pod company.  Today I went to the store and purchased myself a nice Tri-Pod for my Kodak Zi8.  I’m mainly going to be using this Tri-Pod to create new application reviews.  What a minute, you have an iPod Touch again?  Yes!  I do, I purchased one off of a good buddy of mine for cheap and it’s practically brand new.  It’s the 32gb model!  Keep on a lookout for future application reviews again.  Possibly even iPad App Reviews.  *hint*

Below, you will find some pictures of me unboxing my new Tri-Pod.  I didn’t use my Kodak Zi8 due to stabilization issues.  Now that I have my Tri-Pod, there is nothing to worry about!

Kodak Zi8The Kodak Zi8 brought a whole new meaning to, “HD Handheld Video Camera.”  I’m sure many of you have heard of the Flip Mino series.  Well, I believe that Kodak was inspired by them and had to go above and beyond what Flip was doing.  I feel that in a few more years, Kodak will be the leading brand for hand held video camera’s.  After reviewing the Kodak Zi8 and the Flip Mino’s side by side, the Kodak won my vote.

As many of you noticed, I have recently purchased the Kodak Zi8.  The Kodak Zi8 offers and amazing, crystal clear HD video with crystal clear audio.  This camera can produce, 720p in 30fps, 720p in 60fps, or 1080p!  Now, what other brand of hand held video camera can produce a 1080 HD quality video for under $200.  Certainly not the Flip HD Ultra/Mini.

Now, since you know what the camera can produce in quality, let me tell you some of the features.  Like I said, the video quality is outstanding.  Instead of having built in memory, you have an external memory card slot which can hold up to 32gb of video memory.  Now, for capturing video, 32gb is a lot of storage for a portable camera.

With the Kodak Zi8, you don’t only have to use the microphone on the device.  You can plug in an external microphone for people to have higher quality in audio.  Again, the Flip models do NOT have this option.  I think that is a huge winner for many people doing interviews of some sort.

Now yes, the rest of the features on the camera are a lot similar to the Flip models.  You have a pop USB port to hook up to the computer.  So, this means, that wires will never get tangled with this device.  It will always be simple and clean.

I’m not so sure what else I should say about this product besides it’s simply amazing.  If you are stuck between the Flip Series or this Kodak Zi8, I highly recommend purchasing the Zi8.  I know you won’t be upset at all with this product.  I rate it 5/5.  Yes, that’s right, it’s perfect!
