CES 2012 is getting ready to kick off in just a few days with high known companies. One of those companies that will be there is Verizon with their CEO Lowell McAdam. Wait…not anymore. Let me clarify, Verizon will be there but the CEO Lowell McAdam will not be able to attend the keynote to address his companies plans.
McAdam was scheduled to speak on Tuesday morning at 11AM. The CEO had to cancel his appearance at the annual trade show in Las Vegas due to a conflict which is unknown to the public. Don’t be too worried, Verizon is currently securing another executive to speak at the event. At this point in time, we are unaware of who this might be.
This makes many people wonder if companies are starting to pull away from the biggest event of the year for gadgets. This is the second big announcement from a well known company for CES. Microsoft announced that 2012 would be the last year they make their appearance in the keynote address. McAdam could have just made a scheduling mistake but who knows. Verizon has had a very high showing and high profile presence at CES in years past. This has to make people wonder, just a slightly
What do you think about CEO Lowell McAdam not showing? What do you think about these “high profiles” not making a showing at CES?
