Facebook has released an application that MAY actually compete with BBM and Android texting. With this application kill texting all together? It’s a possibility but not likely.

Facebook’s Messenger Application allows you to simply chat with friends on Facebook and even friends from you contact list (I believe). It doesn’t stop there, you can also send photo’s through this service. Don’t believe me? Try it out for yourself. The application is free. All chats should be in real time, in theory.
